Loud and Proud
Go all out for your kids? Why not?!
It has been such an exciting time in our house with birthday parties (another post), back to school shopping, and starting 2nd grade! Social media overload, but I don’t care. I’m a mom now, and that’s what we do.
We brag about our kids!
I am so proud of my girls! I’m proud of their beauty and how they take care of theirselves, stubbornness that shows leadership, loud singing that shows their confidence, and their sweet smiling faces and hugs that shows their love and kindness. If you can’t be proud of your kids, and show them their worth, then why have them? Why go through the trouble?
What have I gotten myself into?
Being a mom has been scary, exciting, unexpected, and the best thing ever in my life. Now they have started school yet another year, and another summer has flown by. I want to give them so much, show them so much, and give them as many experiences I can! My husband has to calm me down in this department. Yes I want to do all these things and I can, but the most important thing for your child is spending quality time with them. Showing them the love and attention they need to thrive in life.
“You, Lord, are a shield around [my child], bestow glory
on him/her and lift up his/her head high.”Psalm 3:3 (NIV)
