Goals for 2020
Slow to speak and slow to anger. Lord this is so hard for me right now. I mean how do other moms do it? You tell your kids over and over until your blue in the face and they still don’t do it. The frustration and exhaustion. Eventually you’ve had it. My goals for 2020 are to show more love and kindness to my children and instead of anger and registration. Spend more quality time with my husband instead of my social media hours. Lord, help me to show the love and kindness to my children and husband for 2020. I’m looking forward to see what is has in store…

Our Person. Our Love.
The other day I noticed a few women sitting together at church. The widows. It got me to thinking, we may not know our spouse as long as our parents, but we are around them a lot more. They are the ones who know our bad days, sick days, financial troubles. You love them or at one time loved them and you have so many memories of them. Together you have children and have lost parents. They have molded you into do you far. They are your person.

So I’m on a journey now to write about the one thing we are commanded to do as a wife. “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
