    What Brings You Joy?

    Where is your Happy Place? When our summer home, the lake house or cabin as we call in the south, sold, I lost mine. I lost my place, the place you go to get away. The place where you call your “home away from home.” This place was my happy place. Yes, I still have memories and photographs to look through. But my place of peace and writing, my home of 30+ summers, was now gone. All the friends, family, and loved ones that shared this special place know how wonderful it was.     Life Verse

    My life verse has been with me since my senior year of high school.  Yes that is almost 15 years. (Telling my age). And no, I don’t care what you say, I am NOT a millennial.  My age/year of birth may say it, but let’s make one thing clear, I am NOT a Millennial.     What’s in a Name

    So what is the meaning behind my blog name?  Honestly, I looked over at a bookshelf by my lounge chair I was sitting on (my thinking/writing chair), and “joy in our hearts” was written on a picture frame that held a photo of the best day of my life (well second best day), my wedding day.
